Overview

These terms govern your use of the Tirion website and services, including our HIPAA compliance consulting, Matrix Synapse configurator, and managed deployment offerings. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Self-Service Configurator

The Matrix configurator tool is provided free of charge. It generates Ansible deployment files based on the options you select. These files are provided “as is” — you are responsible for reviewing and deploying them on your own infrastructure. Tirion is not liable for misconfiguration, data loss, or downtime resulting from self-service deployments.

Managed Deployment Services

If you opt for managed deployment, Tirion will provision and maintain your Matrix server on infrastructure you provide or designate. Pricing is based on the configuration you select and is presented as an estimate during the wizard. Final pricing will be confirmed before any work begins. Managed services are billed monthly and can be canceled with 30 days written notice.

Your Responsibilities

• Providing accurate contact and configuration information
• Maintaining access credentials for your server infrastructure
• Ensuring your use of Matrix complies with applicable laws and regulations
• Obtaining any required API credentials for third-party integrations (bridges, bots, SSO providers)

HIPAA Disclaimer

Our consulting services are designed to help you work toward HIPAA compliance, but no single tool or service guarantees full compliance. HIPAA compliance is an ongoing organizational responsibility that includes administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. We provide guidance and technical implementation — your organization remains responsible for overall compliance.

Limitation of Liability

Tirion’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost revenue, or regulatory penalties.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
